The Rich Get Richer

Via James Kwak, from Carol Bowie comes research on executive compensation at the Russell 3,000 companies (basically the 3,000 largest public companies, I believe).

The takeaway is that while forms of compensation have changed somewhat (stock, options, base pay, bonus, etc.), the overall numbers have been trending up. The last graph she has shows that executive compensation has increased faster over the last three years than the stock indices of which the companies are part.
